Jesus Christ our King

Praises ring ring ring to Jesus Christ our king, to Jehovah God of everything and His Holy Spirit living in me. Praises ring!

This is a song that often pops into my heart. It's been a part of my life for a while now. I only know it was placed there by God's Holy Spirit as a song of praise in all situations. I can be washing dishes, caring for a sick fur baby, or getting up in the morning and it's just there. I can only praise God in all situations knowing He is working all things for my good and His perfect purpose.

As I sit beside my sleeping fur baby I can't help but be anxious as she has a terminal diagnosis. Even now the song is part of my inner spirit. I know God is in charge; and all the time He gives is precious and gracious gift from our God of mercy. He is still loving, good, faithful and kind.

This life is only temporary for us all. Whatever happens praising my God and Savior is the best medicine ever. He will carry me through the tears and fears. He will carry my fur baby through or on home to Him. Either way love reigns and He is to be praised. In the meantime, I wait, pray, follow medical instructions and love her.
