Why study the Word of God?
I hope you enjoy the Facebook and personal posts on this site; and see how each one illustrates the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. I also want to share one of the most amazing changes the Holy Spirit made in my life in recent years.
It was when the Spirit let me to pray for clarity and a better understanding of God’s Word. For me, the Spirit's answer came in the form of other believer recommendations. Finally, I watched the YouTube version of a Revelation study by the late Stephen Armstrong on Verse-by-Verse Ministries. After Revelation then Genesis, Daniel and more. I indeed gained more clarity and understanding. Praise God! And it’s not over. This just sparked more enthusiasm for learning God’s Word. The Revelation study pointed out things like the below.
-
Tribulation is 7 years.
-
Jesus said it will be like in the days of Noah with the world not suspecting or believing.
-
The other thing about Noah is God told Noah, his family, and animals to get in the ark then God closed the doors to cover them all for 7 days before the flood.
-
Jesus also described himself as the groom and He goes to His Father's house to prepare a place for us.
-
The Church is the bride of Christ. In a Jewish wedding the bride awaits the groom. When the groom goes to get the bride, he takes her back to his father's house where he's building a room for her. After that the bride and groom are in the tent for 7 days.
There is so much more to know. Don't take my word for it, study The Word, and uncover the Joy of Jesus. Our Savior and King. He's coming back.
